There's room for a few different roles, and you're not locked into the first one you try. Most people move around a bit before something sticks.

Infantry

The core of everything we do.

Point man, gunner, sharpshooter and combat life saver. Most people start here, and a lot stay because it's the heart of the operation.

Crewing the unit's vehicles.

Driving, gunning and commanding armoured vehicles in support of the infantry — a small, close team.

Flying for the unit.

Rotary support: inserting and extracting the section, moving kit, and the occasional dramatic exit. Demanding, and very rewarding.

Keeping the section in the fight.

Combat medical technicians who treat casualties under pressure. A role for people who like being needed.

Resupply and repair.

The reason the line holds — keeping the unit fed with ammo, fuel and working vehicles. Quiet, essential work.

Whichever role appeals, you don’t need to arrive knowing how to do it. We’ll teach you, and you can change your mind once you’ve tried a few things.
