5 RANGER assembled at a Saturday operation

Every Saturday

This is who you’d stand with.

Why 5 RANGER

Serious about the soldiering. Relaxed about everything else.

Fits around your week

One operation a week. Reserve roles if life gets busy — no guilt.

No experience needed

Most of us joined knowing nothing. We teach you everything that matters.

Semi-realism, not a second job

Real orders and teamwork — without the parade-ground nonsense.

Picked for character

We choose people for empathy and humility, not their kill count.

Don’t take our word for it

What it’s actually like

I originally joined the unit expecting to only stay a few months, its now been 3 years. Over my time here i have been given nothing but support trust and friendship, 5RANGER has been an absolute joy to spend my weekends with and i hope to be able to do so for many more years to come.
5 RANGER has become my milsim home! The friends I've made whilst here, I hope to keep forever!
Coming up to 3 Years in this unit, I've met so many great people here and had a ton of fun! For me it's the perfect mix of milsim and serious fun!
5Ranger isn’t just an Arma unit to me, it’s a group of people who genuinely show up for each other. That sense of belonging is what’s kept me here through everything, and it’s what makes this community worth being part of.
A lot of great people working together to offer an enjoyable operation and succeesing every week.
great community, 10/10
5 Ranger has been a joy to be appart of and help build from when I joined 2 years ago - seeing it grow and forming a air element for the unit has been spectacular.
5R is much more than spending Saturdays with buddies, the community's devotion to improvement means month by month - the experience of being a Ranger, earning the title, grows with every new face.
In my opinion, the way 5 RANGER plays ARMA is the only way to play it. I came looking for organised, serious fun, and that’s exactly what I found. It completely reignited my love for ARMA, not to mention the many friends I’ve made along the way.

What a night looks like

Briefing, operation, debrief.

01

Briefing

We gather in Discord, get the orders, and sort roles. You'll know the plan before anyone moves.

02

The operation

Coordinated, objective-driven, semi-realism. Radios, real teamwork, and a section that has your back.

03

Debrief

We talk it through — what worked, what didn't — then wind down. No blame, just better next week.

Find your role

Pick a lane. Learn it with us.

Is this for me?

New to all this? Good — most of us were.

No experience needed

We train you from scratch — fieldcraft, comms, working as a section. Turn up willing to learn and you’re already halfway.

Fits around real life

One operation a week, Saturdays 19:00 GMT/BST. Miss one when life needs you — attendance isn’t punished.

A mature, drama-free community

We pick people for character — considerate, reliable, easy to spend a Saturday with. No egos, no drama.

All you need: your own copy of Arma 3, a working mic, Discord, and a mature, respectful attitude.
